Site Tour of EastVillage

This construction site tour will give participants a sneak peek at the core of a new mixed-use PUD development in northeast Austin. At over 1 million square feet, visiting the Town Center of EastVillage reveals a cross-section of different stages in construction, multiple construction types (residential, commercial, and mixed-use), and multiple structural systems (wood-framed, steel frame, and concrete podium). This is also an opportunity to explore design at a scale larger than a single building and the unique challenges that brings.
Participants must supply their own PPE and wear close-toed shoes. Onsite parking available. Free event, RSVP required.
