SUMMARY:Access Series #3: Access to Urban Equality
DESCRIPTION:Join us — along with Mayor Pro Team Delia Garza and an engaging group of community leaders — for dinner\, discussion\, and fellowship. Access to Urban Equality will explore how architects can affect changes pertaining to the complex and interconnected issues of unequal access to housing\, employment\, and public space. Co-presented by Lauren Woodward Stanley\, AIA\, Stanley Studio\, Sarah Satterlee\, AIA\, Staff Architect\, Mobile Loaves and Fishes\, and Aleksandra Jaeschke\, Assistant Professor\, UT School of Architecture. \n \n\n2019 ACCESS SERIES: In 2019\, Women in Architecture hosted a series of roundtable dinners spread over the course of the year focused on sharing expert knowledge to increase the success of women and minority applicants pursuing professional recognition. Carefully curated speakers will deliver relevant information in an intimate\, 30-40 attendee dinner setting. Attendees will gain insights into communicating authorship while also connecting with a diverse network of other women within the profession. Stay tuned for additional dates!
