DESCRIPTION:Emerging Professionals\nSite Tour of EastVillage\nwith h+uo architects \nThis construction site tour will give participants a sneak peek at the core of a new mixed-use PUD development in northeast Austin. At over 1 million square feet\, visiting the Town Center of EastVillage reveals a cross-section of different stages in construction\, multiple construction types (residential\, commercial\, and mixed-use)\, and multiple structural systems (wood-framed\, steel frame\, and concrete podium). This is also an opportunity to explore design at a scale larger than a single building and the unique challenges that brings. \nParticipants must supply their own PPE and wear close-toed shoes.
