DESCRIPTION:ARE 5.0 Study Group\nAre you on your path to licensure? Do you need accountability buddies? Our doors are open! Come study individually or bring a group of colleagues and study together. Come for the resources\, stay for the camaraderie. The AIA Austin office at 801 W 12th street hosts a study group on Wednesdays from 6pm – 7:30pm to study for the ARE 5.0 exams. Our study group also communicates via Discord. Please email brianna_deleon@gensler.com and cc aia.austin.ep@gmail.com for questions and inquiries.\n\n\n\n\nOnce every other month the study group will have either a guest speaker or a guided work through an exam question. This will be accompanied by Food and Drink. DESCRIPTION:The AIA Austin Design Awards program recognizes outstanding architectural projects completed by AIA Austin members. Winning work spans a diverse spectrum of project sizes\, types\, locations\, and clients. Each year\, the AIA Austin Design Awards Committee issues a call for entries to recognize the very best of Austin architecture\, completed by AIA Austin members. A group of respected design professionals are invited by the AIA Austin Design Awards committee to make up the panel of jurors. Valuing a variety of perspectives\, the jury is selected to reflect a cross section of design experience\, backgrounds\, and identity markers. \nGET TICKETS NOW \nCOMMON APP INFO RECORDING>> \nMEET THE 2026 DESIGN AWARDS JURORS>>  \n\nJURY PROCESS: The jury is invited to Austin for a weekend of in-person deliberation and interaction with the local design community through our Jury Conversations event\, where they discuss their design philosophies and project experience. Compelling submissions are commended for their architectural design\, technical ability\, environmental response\, and/or social impact. Innovation is recognized at multiple scales\, from urban strategies to detail resolution. The program highlights the importance of sustainable design—recognizing the power of design to contribute solutions that address the most significant needs of our time. \nRecipients are revealed live at our annual Awards Celebration. Winning work spans a diverse spectrum of project sizes\, types\, locations\, and clients. The recipients of any award reflect the opinions of the guest jury evaluating the submissions. \nThe Design Awards committee encourages a diverse makeup of members.
