DESCRIPTION:ARE 5.0 Study Group\nAre you on your path to licensure? Do you need accountability buddies? Our doors are open! Come study individually or bring a group of colleagues and study together. Come for the resources\, stay for the camaraderie. The AIA Austin office at 801 W 12th street hosts a study group on Wednesdays from 6pm – 7:30pm to study for the ARE 5.0 exams. Our study group also communicates via Discord. Please email brianna_deleon@gensler.com and cc aia.austin.ep@gmail.com for questions and inquiries.\n\n\n\n\nOnce every other month the study group will have either a guest speaker or a guided work through an exam question. This will be accompanied by Food and Drink. SUMMARY:Emerging Professionals Committee: Registration Celebration
DESCRIPTION:It’s time for our Annual Registration Celebration! Join the AIA Austin Emerging Professionals in a celebratory toast honoring this year’s newly licensed architects in Austin! \nWe will be spending an evening at Gensler Austin\, where you can expect dinner\, drinks\, and raffle prizes! We can’t wait to celebrate this accomplishment with you all. \nRSVP Required  \nPARKING INFORMATION: \nPlease note that parking for Gensler Austin consists of street parking and a parking garage. We suggest ridesharing and carpooling if possible. We also suggest street parking as the most affordable option. Please see instructions and graphics included. \nSTREET PARKING: Parking is available along South Congress and adjacent neighborhood roads. Please see the attached graphic with highlighted streets with parking closest to the office. After parking\, locate the building 1 elevator on the back side of Building 1. Take the elevator to Level 2. \n PARKING GARAGE: Parking is available at the Music Lane Garage. Parking will not be validated for this event. If you would like to park in the garage\, please note the instructions below. \n ENTRY FROM SOUTH CONGRESS: Enter the garage and take a ticket. Once through the gate\, follow the turn to the right and then immediately turn left. At this point\, you will drive past the Building 1 elevator\, which leads you to Gensler. All floors and spots are available for parking unless signage dictates otherwise. Take the Building 1 elevator to Level 2. \n ENTRY FROM MUSIC LANE: Enter the garage and take a ticket. Once through the gate\, turn left\, follow the turn to the right\, and then immediately turn left again. At this point\, you will drive past the Building 1 elevator\, which leads you to Gensler. All floors and spots are available for parking unless signage dictates otherwise. Take the Building 1 elevator to Level 2. \n\nOur mission is to provide an opportunity for discussion and growth for young architectural professionals as they work towards licensure\, along with relevant resources for continued development after registration. We also foster a strong network of multidisciplinary members and non-members and promote the value of architecture through its impact in the community. \nConnect with us!
