Participants will examine the recent history of wildfires in Texas and explore how local environmental conditions and past wildfire events influenced the adoption of the WUIC in Austin. The course reviews the 2024 WUIC requirements\, highlighting key updates from the 2015 version and the rationale behind these changes.
