DESCRIPTION:October Advocacy Roundtable Topic: Compatibilty \nJoin the AIA Austin Advocacy team and speaker Timothy Bray\, Policy Advisor for City Council Member Chito Vela\, for a discussion about compatibility changes. Austin City Council is on track to pass city-wide compatibility reform this spring that will bring Austin’s standards in line with other cities. Austin’s compatibility reforms are very strict and severely limit multifamily and commercial development next to single-family zoning.
