DESCRIPTION:*** Volunteers needed: Sept 14th @ 4p *** \nAIA Austin is helping to host the 2026 Candidate Forum for city council districts 1\, 3\, 5\, 8\, and 9 and we are looking for folks to help with check in. We track code\, policies\, and discriminatory housing practices. The intention of this group is to be proactive\, not reactive on housing policy\, and we look for organizations to partner with on issues as we leverage our own expertise as design professionals and leaders of the community. \nThis committee’s monthly meetings are second Fridays\, 12-1PM.
