SUMMARY:Urban Design Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Urban Design Committee’s 2026 Speaker Series will focus on smaller scale development and projects that transform underutilized spaces at the neighborhood scale\, demonstrate creativity in adaptive reuse and inform a sense of place. \nNext up in our series will be Ben Dimmitt of Chioco Design who will share more about their vision and process for the redevelopment of the former warehouse at 979 Springdale into a community anchor and neighborhood hub that serves as the home of the Austin Bouldering Project\, Groundfloor Theater and others.
