Gain feedback\, tips and tricks to break through the confusion with friends and colleagues at this breakfast workshop where you will learn the keys to compelling narratives\, graphics\, and storytelling.  Join architects Michael Morrow\, AIA\, Jes Deaver\, AIA\, and art director Julie Pizzo for a discussion of what makes a project memorable to jurors. \nREGISTER HERE \nPRESENTERS:  \nJes Deaver\, AIA\nJes Deaver is a partner at Nick Deaver Architect where she practices residential design. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Radio-TV-Film from the University of Texas and a Master of Architecture from the University of Houston. Her writing has been published in Texas Architect Magazine and AIA Young Architects Connections Magazine with her most recent articles centering on environmental and community impacts in Texas. She is a member of the AIA Austin Design Awards Committee.  \nMichael Morrow\, AIA\nMichael Morrow is the founder and principal of Kinneymorrow Architecture\, a full-service architectural firm specializing in custom residential design with specialization in historic restoration\, adaptive reuse\, and new housing. Recently relocated to Austin\, the practice offers unique and tailored solutions for a diverse range of clients in Texas and across the United States. He has also led the Texas Society of Architects Design Awards committee.  \nJulie Pizzo\nJulie Pizzo is a multidisciplinary creative in graphics\, branding\, publishing\, experiential\, and spacial design. She has been responsible for communicating visual identities across media and establishing sense-of-place throughout the built environment. Most recently\, she was a Senior Associate of Design and Strategy at Sensory Interactive\, and prior to that a Senior Designer at Page/Dyal—the branding and graphics studio at Page. She also served as the liaison for the design awards committee when she worked for the Texas Society of Architects\, gaining insight into juror conversations.
