All are welcome to the March Urban Design Committee meeting. 40 minutes of this meeting will feature a presentation on the Congress Avenue Urban Design Initiative (CAUDI) presentation with speakers:
- Laura Dierenfield, City of Austin Active Transportation and Street Design Division Manager
- Amalia Carmona, AIA, Downtown Austin Alliance (DAA) Urban Design Manager
- Jana McCann, FAIA, Principal, McCann Adams Studio & Urban Design lead for the CAUDI project under HDR
The AIA Austin Urban Design Committee aims to improve the quality of the urban environment by promoting excellence in design, planning, and public policy in the built environment. The Urban Design Committee, in concert with allied community and professional groups, promotes programs that teach and inform professionals and the public about the design and development of quality urban spaces and environments.
