The Urban Design Comittee has partnered on two community charettes over the past few months which has provided the groundwork to take the project to the next level.

About Urban Design

The AIA Austin Urban Design Committee aims to improve the quality of the urban environment by promoting excellence in design, planning, and public policy in the built environment. The Urban Design Committee, in concert with allied community and professional groups, promotes programs that teach and inform professionals and the public about the design and development of quality urban spaces and environments.

Meetings are typically held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 12:00 PM
