Join Austin’s design community for a reception of Leonid Furmansky’s exhibit Oil Towers at the Center for Architecture. The exhibit showcases a portfolio of photographs by the Austin-based photographer depicting the glassy, gridded surfaces of high-rises in downtown Houston. Taken during the depths of the pandemic, viewers see a big Texas city in a new way—empty and isolated, yet waiting to be repopulated and suffused with life.
