Grab your sketchbook and come hang with us at the MACC on Thursday October 8th!
That’s right–we’re doing another Thursday sketch club! If you’ve wanted to join us, but can’t make Saturday mornings work, now is your chance!
The Mexican American Cultural Center celebrated its grand re-opening this summer and how has weekday hours from 10AM-9PM. Their galleries dedicated to the preservation, creation, presentation, and promotion of the cultural arts of Mexican Americans and Latino cultures are open for viewing during thai time. We are planning to arrive at 6:30, but feel free to come earlier or stay later and enjoy the museum. Please keep an eye on our Instagram story to see where to find us if you’re lost (or just look for our sketch club lead, Gerardo!)
This event is family friendly and open to everyone. Whether you’re an architect, designer, engineer, or artist, come sketch with us!
PARKING TIPS:
The MACC has a parking lot north of the roundabout at River St. If parking in their parking lot, you can get a free parking pass at the Main Reception. If the lot is full, public street parking opportunities are nearby along Rainey St and East Ave.
