The Austin Public Library is turning 100 — and we need our community to imagine how to celebrate this milestone.
Join Austin Public Library and Design Austin for a hands-on Community Workshop to brainstorm ideas for a centennial art installation. You will collaborate in facilitated groups to imagine a memorable display rooted in Austin’s creative culture that reflects 100 years of community and inspires the next generation. Concepts generated will be reviewed by Austin Public Library stakeholders to inform the final installation. All are welcome!
The workshop will be in the Den Room on the 6th Floor.
Recommended for ages 10 and up. Children should be able to participate in a collaborative discussion setting.
