A Second Empire-style Austin Landmark in 78703 is being renovated and rehabilitated to accommodate 21st century technology and modern sensibilities. The rusticated stone structure, circa 1898, is being restored; previous additions have been demolished or stripped to structure. A new modern addition lightly touches the original home. To distinguish the original stone structure, a Kebony wood rain screen clads the new interventions. An exposed steel structure weaves the masses together.
