AIA Austin COTE Open Committee Meeting: 2024 Planning
Our September meeting will be an opening planning meeting for what programming is next year! We want to hear from YOU what YOU want to learn about, who to hear from, and generally what YOU want this committee to look like in 2024!
We also have open committee positions we’re looking to fill; Chair-Elect, 2030 Lead, Advocacy Lead, Design Awards Lead, Social Media Coordinator, and Austin Better Building Alliance Liaison. All positions have minimal time commitments with great networking opportunities.
Drinks, tacos, and queso will be provided and we will discuss how we can work towards our mission statement.
The Committee on the Environment (COTE) is an American Institute of Architects Knowledge Community working with architects, allied professionals, and the public to achieve climate action and climate justice through design. We believe that design excellence is the foundation of a healthy, sustainable, and equitable future. Our work promotes design strategies that allow people, communities, and our planet to thrive.
