Stefanie is an energetic & confident Engineering Leader with 15 years of experience in innovative façade design experience on world-class new construction and building repositioning projects. Her passion for sustainable and high-performing solutions is made evident by her reputation as a highly sought-after team member for clients delivering complex building envelope systems. With experience spanning multiple market sectors, Stefanie is known for engaging interactions with project teams, driving effective integration of complex building envelope systems to successfully achieve project goals.

As the Director of Operations for Lerch Bates’s Enclosure Design and Consulting department in Texas, Stefanie is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction for her Architect, General Contractor and Developer clientele. She achieves this through hands-on leadership of her team while serving as the lead subject matter expert for new construction and major renovation projects.


BEC: Austin is an interdisciplinary organization that promotes the exchange of information on building enclosures and related science specific to the climate of Central Texas.

Interdisciplinary: architects, engineers, contractors, building owners, consultants, facility managers, code officials, educators, manufacturers, and those with a stake in building enclosure performance

Exchange of information: discussion, training, education, outreach, and awareness

Building enclosures and related science: energy-efficiency, moisture control, indoor air quality, longevity, and durability
