High-Performance Protection: Coatings for Architectural Applications

Presenters: Marcia Pflug, Pat Berry, and Jennifer Gleisberg with Tnemec.

Learn the various types of high-performance coating systems for interior and exterior exposed architectural applications and how they can provide additional protection and beautification for high-profile projects or areas subjected to harsh environments and abuse.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify the coating environments applicable for architectural applications.
  2. Understand which generic coating type should be used for a particular environment.
  3. Identify which generic coating types should be used for interior and/or exterior applications.
  4. Understand that a complete coating system includes a primer, intermediate and topcoat.
  5. Identify where floor coatings can fit into a particular project scope.
  6. Understand which types of coatings may be used on environmentally-focused projects.
