College Series 2026 // From Degree to Career: Paths & Possibilities
What does a career in architecture actually look like after graduation? From small studios to global practices, design-build firms to careers in technology, construction, consulting, and government, there are more paths available to architecture graduates than many students realize.
From Degree to Career: Paths & Possibilities is an in-person, two-part panel series designed to give students a behind-the-scenes look at the architecture profession and help them make more informed decisions about their future. The first panel, The Anatomy of an Architecture Firm, explores how architecture firms are structured, how roles and responsibilities differ across practices, and what it’s like to work in firms of different sizes and models. The second, What Else Can Architects Do?, looks beyond the traditional architecture firm to explore alternative career paths and the many ways an architecture education can translate into other industries and roles.
The series will conclude with a networking lunch, giving students the opportunity to connect with architects and professionals across the industry, ask questions, and begin building relationships as they navigate their own paths from degree to career.
