Join our Advocacy leaders for a lively roundtable discussion about making Austin more connected, affordable, and equitable. In 2020, Austin voters approved $300 million for anti-displacement and affordable housing investments along its public transportation routes, including the future light rail. The actions we take next will shape our city for decades. How do we create walkable, thriving neighborhoods centered around public transportation, while also strengthening Austin’s heritage and existing communities?

Panelists include:

  • Timothy Bray—Policy Advisor for City Council Member Chito Vela
  • Courtney Chaves—SVP of Equity and Community Partnerships at Austin Transit Partnership (ATP)
  • Warner Cook—Principal Planner, Equitable Transit-Oriented Development, City of Austin
  • Nefertitti Jackmon—Community Displacement Prevention Officer, City of Austin
  • Anna Lan—CapMetro, leads the Equitable Transit Oriented Development (ETOD) program
