Join AIA Austin and City of Austin Leaders for a roundtable discussion on the recently enacted statewide housing legislation: SB15, HB24, SB840, and SB2835. The session will examine key reforms aimed at curbing greenfield sprawl, reducing the effect of the ‘Tyrant’s Veto’, allowing more housing in underutilized commercial spaces, and a Texas-wide single stair bill. We’ll highlight the impact of SB840 on local land use and compare the city of Austin’s interpretation with other municipalities.
